- Calibrated to EA-10/13 (European Co-operation for Accreditation Guidelines on the Calibration of Dry Block Calibrators), delivering high accuracy without the need for a reference probe.
- Simple 4-button operation with an integrated reference temperature sensor.
- Serial interface for PC-assisted calibration monitoring using 4Sight2 Calibration Management Software (optional TCUSB interface cable).
- Optional IOPTC-CASE-1 transport case with wheels for the DryTC165 and DryTC650.
Overview
The Druck DryTC Series Dry Block Temperature Calibrators combine advanced metal block technology with precise electronic temperature control to provide accurate, stable temperature sources for calibrating temperature sensors, probes, switches, and thermometers.
A selection of precision-machined interchangeable well inserts allows the calibrators to accommodate a wide range of probe sizes, making them ideal for field service, maintenance, and laboratory calibration.
Models
DryTC165
- Temperature range: -35°C to 165°C (-31°F to 329°F)
DryTC650
- Temperature range: Ambient to 650°C (1202°F)
Both models offer:
- Accuracy from ±0.2°C
- Stability of ±0.05°C
- Fast heating and cooling
- Lightweight, rugged design for field use
- Interchangeable well inserts
- Easy setup and operation
- Temperature display in °C or °F (factory default: °C)
Interchangeable Well Inserts
Dry block calibrator performance depends on achieving a close fit between the test device and the calibration well. A range of interchangeable insertion sleeves is available with hole diameters designed to fit the most common probes, sensors, and thermometers, helping maximize accuracy and heat transfer.
Controller Functions
The DryTC Series includes several built-in features to simplify calibration:
- Controller OFF Mode – Disables automatic temperature control while maintaining the current temperature, allowing settings to be adjusted during testing.
- Manual Control – Lets users manually adjust heater power to control the rate of heating.
- Set-Point Memory – Stores up to four preset temperatures for quick recall during routine calibrations.
- Test Profiles – Create automated heating, soak, and cooling sequences between two set points with programmable ramp rates and dwell times.
- PC Communications – Optional USB interface enables connection to a computer for monitoring and documentation.
Applications
The DryTC Series is suitable for use in the field, workshops, calibration laboratories, and test facilities across a wide range of industries, including:
- Instrument commissioning and installation
- Manufacturing and production
- Preventive maintenance and field service
- Quality assurance and calibration management
- Test equipment verification
- Repair and maintenance operations
